Rooftop Housing Group

About Us

Since our creation, we have built a reputation for meeting the housing needs of local communities and providing excellent quality services to residents.

Our mission is to improve the quality of life of people and the communities in which they live. Our group has four objectives: delivering excellent services; meeting the needs of communities; making the best use of our resources, and; encouraging innovation and improvement in all we do.

Support and Care

Our Support and Care service helps people of all ages to live independently in their own homes, and is governed by the Board of G3 (Inspiring Individuals). We do this in a number of ways:

  • by helping people to access the benefits you are entitled to
  • giving encouragement to take part in activities
  • enabling people to learn new skills through training, volunteering and education
  • providing people with the life skills you need to lead a full and independent life

Activities for All

At Rooftop, we offer a range of fun leisure and interest activities as part of our Older People Services. Our activities are open to all older people in the community, residents and non-residents. The Activities for All programme provides a selection of fun activities based in local facilities that are for everyone to enjoy. Keeping fit and active is key to being healthy and well at all ages and particularly as we get older.

How much does it cost?

Some of our activities are free or funded by the Rooftop Activities for All scheme. Others may cost a nominal fee. However, we aim to keep these costs as low as possible.

How do I join in?

If you would like more information about where and when these activities take place, click here to contact our Activities Co-ordinator, Kim Skipsey, online.

Independence at Home

Rooftop's Independence at Home service supports older and vulnerable people, according to their needs and choices, to lead an active and independent life:

  • at home
  • in safety
  • in financial security
  • in good health
  • and with dignity.

Our support service is available to any older or vulnerable person living in South Wychavon, regardless of whether you are a Rooftop resident or own your own home.
