We know firsthand how difficult it can be when a loved one is no longer able to look after their self. The modern pace of life means that siblings and close friends often cannot be at hand as much as they would like to be – it is a traumatic time for all.

In situations like these, you don’t just want carers, you need people who care. When you choose a carer, you don’t just want someone who’s qualified, you want someone who has common interest, offers friendship, and most importantly, someone who listens. Rojene are proud to be able to offer you such service and carers.

We are a family owned and run business providing live-in care in the comfort of your own home. We don’t offer one-size-fits-all care plans, we are intimately involved with your current and changing requirements and are always at hand to ensure you receive the level of support you need. All of our carers are personally selected not only because of their qualification, but also because of their compatibility with those who are entrusted to our care.

Live-in Care

•    Washing/bathing and dressing
•    Continence Management
•    Skin care
•    Medication administration, reminders/prompting
•    Light household cleaning, laundry, ironing and preparing meals
•    Shopping, collecting pensions
•    Driving (If Clients’ car and insurance are provided for the purpose)
•    Companionship

How we deliver your care

We will do an initial assessment at your home or hospital. The assessment will be an opportunity for us to meet you and discuss your personal requirements and wishes. We take into account your hobbies, interests and your lifestyle in general. We believe that if you are to have a person living with you, then compatibility is essential.

It does not matter how complex you feel your situation might be, the care team will always endeavour to find a solution to your needs.

We specialise in placing care workers on a long term basis so you don’t have the upheaval of a different worker every week. The majority of our workers will commit to a minimum of 3 months at a time, they will have short breaks but a replacement worker will be sent in and they will have a thorough handover from your main Care worker so you don’t have to worry about showing them the ropes.

Quality Assurance

We are always keen to provide the best possible service and to do this we continually check on what we are doing, talk with our staff and with outsiders who have opportunities to see and judge our work, and above all listen to our customers. This process is called quality assurance. It involves:

• A visit every month to all Clients by Megan or Jenny to hear your views at first hand
• Regular supervision meetings between each Care Worker and their line manager
• A survey of Clients, and where appropriate their relatives or representatives, to obtain views and opinions
• Careful checks on all Clients files, timesheets and other records.

In addition to these opportunities, we welcome Clients views at any time. We need to know how we are doing, and they are best placed to tell us.
