Tackling crime and disorder is a job for everyone and not just the police.
The North Worcestershire Community Safety Partnership provides a strategic and co-operative approach between agencies and communities within North Worcestershire to address local community safety issues and achieves the Partnership’s vision of ‘Keeping North Worcestershire a safe place to live, work and visit.’
The North Worcestershire Community Safety Partnership is the statutory Community Safety Partnership (CSP) and was newly formed in April 2013, covering the districts of Bromsgrove, Redditch and Wyre Forest.
The aim of NWCSP is for its members to work together to ensure that crime and anti-social behaviour (ASB) are reduced and North Worcestershire is a place where residents are safe and feel safe.
The partnership delivers a range of community safety initiatives aimed at keeping our towns and villages in Bromsgrove, Redditch and Wyre Forest a safe place to live, work and visit.
Partners have a responsibility to work together, and in co-operation with other local organisations, to develop and deliver activity to reduce re-offending, tackle crime, anti social behaviour, behaviour that adversely affects the local environment and substance misuse.
NWCSP was formed in April 2013 and brings together and replaces the original CSPs in Bromsgrove, Redditch and Wyre Forest, which had been in place since 1998 as a result of the Crime and Disorder Act.
The Partnership provides a co-ordinated approach to tackling crime, delivering projects across the whole of the area and making best use of resources.
All partners share one vision of ‘Keeping North Worcestershire a safe place to live, work and visit'.
