We are best known as the largest developer of privately owned retirement property in the UK.
Over the past 30 years we have built 45,000 apartments nationwide and we regularly win awards for our work.

UK Over-50s Housing Awards
We won two awards at the UK Over-50s Housing Awards in 2011 where we were praised for our innovation. We were judged to be the most outstanding Assisted Living provider in the UK in 2012.
We were also very proud to win the Global Award. We believe that you should have the very best housing in later life. We think these awards demonstrate our commitment to that ideal.
2013 Customer Satisfaction Surveys: 5 Star Award
For the eighth year running, McCarthy & Stone has been recognised with a 5 Star Award from our customers through independent customer satisfaction surveys undertaken by the Home Builders Federation (HBF) and The National House Building Council (NHBC). The NHBC also reports unprecedented levels of customer satisfaction for the homes we build.
