Macmillan improves the lives of people affected by cancer locally. We provide practical, medical, emotional and financial support and push for better cancer care. Cancer affects us all. We can all help. We are Macmillan in Gloucestershire.

One in three of us will get cancer and it’s the toughest thing most of us will ever face. If you’ve been diagnosed with cancer, or a loved one has, you’ll want a team of people in your corner supporting you every step of the way.

We're here for you

At our centres, you'll find a team of experts and trained volunteers on hand to answer your questions. Not only that but you can also access booklets, leaflets and other sources of information free of charge. Some centres offer other services, including self-help and support groups,or complementary therapies. 

Macmillan on the road

Our mobile centres tour the UK, visiting high streets, communities and events to bring you free, confidential information and support.

You don't need an appointment to speak to our cancer information specialists. And you're welcome whether you have a cancer diagnosis, are worried about cancer or are visiting on behalf of a friend or relative.

More about Macmillan in Gloucestershire

Macmillan Cancer Support in Gloucestershire is helping more and more people affected by cancer but we can't do it without your help.  We need hundreds of thousands of pounds in Gloucestershire to ensure we can pay for more innovative services to improve the lives of people living with cancer:

  • A Macmillan clinical nurse specialist and a Macmillan lead cancer nurse.
  • A Macmillan brain tumour project working with patients and families.
  • A Macmillan therapies project including dietitian and occupational therapist services.

All these Macmillan services will play a significant role in improving the lives of people with cancer.
