Anyone with mobility issues can find a huge array of items to help them out at INDY Enabled Living because they are no less than a state-of-the-art mobility centre. They specialise in supplying the very best enabled
living products to satisfied customers all over Worcestershire and beyond.
The family-run business offers a huge range of products, from simple items like walking sticks and disabled clothing to disability chairs and, importantly with the summer now upon us, a huge range of scooters and electric wheelchairs.
“We’ve got lots of equipment that will help people get out and about and that is particularly important at this time of year,” explained sales director Elizabeth Usher. “We’re here to help people get on with things and enjoy their lives.”
Indy prides itself on being a 21st-centure haven for people with disabilities and motor impairment and what sets it apart from its competitors is the chance to fully test out different items, as well as get the very best advice from its expert staff.
Its showroom at Enterprise Way, Vale Park, Evesham, offers a test track featuring a variety of different surfaces including cobbles and uneven paving so that people can fully try out products and buy with complete confidence.
The showroom also features kitchen, bedroom and bathroom environments in which to put equipment to the test, as well as an on-site occupational therapist who can provide one-to-one free impartial advice.
Indy’s team has been awarded Trusted Assessor status by the Disabled Living Foundation, recognising that they are best able to advise on the wide range of products available. The company is also a registered British Healthcare Traders Association (BHTA) member and approved community equipment dispenser.
Larger items such as stairlifts are no problem for Indy, and it is happy to offer free, no-obligation quotations.
Some equipment, such as wheelchairs and scooters, can be rented, while Indy accepts wheelchair vouchers and offers finance for larger items.
The showroom is open Monday to Friday, from 10am-6pm, Saturdays 10am-5pm and on Sundays by appointment.
