The Motability Scheme is directed and overseen by Motability, a national charity that also raises funds and provides financial assistance to customers who would otherwise be unable to afford the mobility solution they need.
Special terms have been arranged with motor manufacturers, banks and insurers to enable disabled people to become mobile.
As a Motability Accredited Organisation, we have the knowledge to assist every customer in making the right decision to choose the model that best suits their individual motoring needs.
We have fully trained Motability specialists who are happy to guide you through each step of the process required to ensure that all your requirements are met. All aspects of the scheme including maintenance, responsibility, collection and return will be fully explained.
The Motability Scheme enables disabled people to lease a new car, scooter or powered wheelchair by exchanging their Government funded mobility allowance . If you receive either the Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance (HRMC DLA), the Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (ERMC PIP) , the War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS) or the Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP) you may be eligible to join the Motability Scheme.
The Motability scheme was set up in 1978 and has helped over 3 million people so far.

The following points are included in our worry-free package:
Some cars will require an Advance Payment, which is payable to your dealer when you collect your car.
Please note that you should expect to receive your allowance for the full length of the agreement. However, as long as you have at least 12 months award remaining, you can join.
Once a customer has chosen which scheme they wish to join, they then agree to pay over all, or part of their mobility allowance (DLA or WPMS), depending on their choice of vehicle, for the duration of their contract hire, or hire purchase agreement.
If you would like assistance checking whether you are eligible for either the Disability Living Allowance (DLA), Personal Indepence Payment(PIP) or the War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement, you should contact one of the following agencies:

For enquiries about the War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement (WPMS), please contact Service Personnel & Veterans Agency on 0800 169 2277 or visit the Veterans UK website
