Health Trainers provide practical one to one support and motivation to encourage individuals to make positive lifestyle changes.
Health trainers cover four key areas of health which are healthy eating, increasing levels of physical activity, stopping smoking and drinking alcohol responsibly.
You can be seen at a time and place most convenient to you including in your own home.
Health Trainers will give advice, support and motivation as well as signpost into other relevant services if needed.
If you would like further information about what the health trainers can offer you, or would like to make an appointment, please call 01905 681333 or alternatively you can contact the Health
Trainers via the Healthy Lifestyles Hub on 01905 363909.
The Healthy Lifestyles HUB is a new 'one stop-shop' service, which is available to all residents of Worcestershire from a single contact number and email address, is also available to health and social professionals as a simple tool for signposting their clients towards local health improvement services. These include Stop Smoking, Weight Management, Chlamydia Screening and Health Trainers.
The service also provides the opportunity to be signposted towards drug and alcohol services, specialist sexual health services and physical activity and exercise.
The new HLH operators are waiting to take calls right now. They are available to speak to from Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 8pm, and Saturday 9am to 5pm. Contact made outside of these hours will go to a voice mail and call-back service.
